Well I'm a Muslim and according to the Quran, Jesus is said to be a Prophet and a Messenger of God, not God himself nor a son of God for that matter ( we believe God doesn't give birth to anyone neither is he given birth to by anyone ).
We also believe that Jesus has never been crucified and that he was ascended to heaven when the prosecutors looked for him.
So, to answer OP's question, if the article is actually providing authentic information, then it further strengthens my belief tbh.

Not to turn this into a battle of religions but as far as I'm concerned, a lot of names in the context of the Bible and Quran are different when they are actually talking about the same person.

Jesus and Isa is an example.... a few other examples are Moses and Musa, David and Da'ud, Noah and Nooh...
they are all considered as Messengers in Islam.

Apparently the Quran actually has a lot of verses describing scientific stuff that were only officially discovered a few decades or maybe a century ago.

Not to mention that it ranked high in terms of Arabic literature at the time it was revealed.

To each his own. If you wanna touch on religion, people tend to be close minded and stick to their own beliefs. Like, the Quran says Jesus is a prophet. The person nailed on the cross was someone else that God made everyone think was Prophet Isa. Jesus/Isa was protected by God and hidden by God himself.

When Dajjal rises, Jesus will appear again to lead the world into defeating him.

It's what I know. As I said, close minded. Same goes to the Christians saying God sacrificed himself on the cross. People simply insist on having faith in their own religion. There's nothing to debate.

We Muslims keep saying the Bible has been edited and that everyone is ignoring the Quran. The Christians also can say that the Quran is edited and that the Bible is correct.

slavery was never okay. people may have practiced it, and they still do, but it was never okay
