Flows, beats and rhymes were nice as expected but it just sort of felt like a typical underground album.

Just noticed your comment breh. doh

For me it goes
1 Torture Papers
2 Unholy terror
3 IDR
4 ROB

I put ROB last because there's quite a few tracks on there that i'm just not feeling. Whereas the other albums are just top to bottom bangers for me. What about you bud?

the lack of anything noteworthy whatsoever. It was just generic rapping over generic beats. One of the most boring albums I've ever listened to. It's 60 minutes of them bragging about shit they don't do. Plus the rapping wasn't even impressive.

I agree that there's nothing noteworthy in terms of anything profound or some kind of message they're trying to get across, but it's clear that that's not their aim with this project, i disagree about the generic beats and rapping. pretty solid mang. Bragging about shit that you don't do is a common occurence in hiphop, most notably in Gangsta and battle rap. Each to their own though

Maybe you should actually give their albums a spin before fully coming to that conclusion

You can get all 4 of them from this page, if you can't be bothered sitting through all 4, then at least give Torture Papers a try

It's not even just bragging about shit that you don't do, cause if you can do it but sound legitimate (like biggie) then it's awesome but this shit is just stupid. Rapping about ancient egypt and and having alien dna and shit is so unbelievable and meaningless that it's almost cringe worthy to listen to. No Vinnie Paz, you are not waiting on a letter from Andromeda. That's not clever or creative or cool whatsoever. It's stupid. And no, the production was incredibly bland and the rapping was so unimpressive. The only time they got technical the lyrical quality would drop to atrocious levels of cliche, empty phrases. Planetary is one of the worst rappers ever and did this in almost every verse he had.

That made me lel. I don't take the lyrics that seriously, i find them entertaining. If i want to be moved by some deep profound shit, then i will listen to the respected emcees of that specific field. This is dope to me, that doesn't mean that i think these dudes are dopest in the game. I like tons of different hiphop acts for different reasons, not every emcee has to have a specific checklist of skills to entertain me. it's all subjective at the end of the day

It doesn't have to be deep and profound shit lol a track can just have dope rapping and be good if it's creative or interesting or impressive somehow. There's nothing impressive about

Introducing you rappers to tragedy
Happily ever after if after means you a casualty
Praise those who savagely sacrifice their reality
Bury bones and annually dig them up unhappily
Catch me flossing dead in the center of gravity

that shit doesn't even make sense. It's just rhyming for the hell of it and the rhyming isn't even good. Actually that last sentence is a good summary of the entire album.
