OT: Jay isn't musically on Kanye's level, but I think in a battling environment, in their competitive frame of minds, on both of their A-games, jay would take the cake, if only slightly.
I haven't heard nearly as much from Hov as I have Kanye, but I say Jay-Z definitely has the edge as far as punches go, flows, and lyrical diversity and rhyme complexity.
Kanye does however have a certain x-factor. He's enjoyable. His mic presence is outstanding. He's got energy. Not to say Jigga doesn't. But I personally feel more from Ye
