It is better. Sonically DJ Abilities is way better Eyedea's improved in just about every rapping category from delivery, flow, mic presence, charisma etc. It has about 5 songs better than any song on First Born, which was kinda too long and had some disposable tracks.

and Oliver Hart is definitely his second best

I liked E&A & enjoy battle rap eyedea tbh, it's like an updated Rakim with the battle rap and even reminds me of beastie boys with the production.

Also glad you liked game theory, it actually took me a while to rly appreciate BT on the mic since I was so fixated by the drumming and he had no particular gimmick to him but was just fine rapping done rly well.

Yeah actually surpassed them, I used to own this album as a child and from what I remembered I was expecting to be heavily disappointed but it was actually pretty good.
