He's not a terrible pure spitter but he has a A LOT of work to do, but his lyrics are generic af. & just no to him trying to appeal to the drake demographic.

This song's alright (I guess), but he seriously needs to work on his presentation. Sampling life's a bitch? really, something about scratched hooks if done lazily can rly piss me off. It just seems so youtube rappery like something they would do, trying to prove to his skeptics that yeah bruh I can spit that real flame shit if I want to.



A lot of problems with these new age rappers that make them generic af and almost by the numbers is that they try to make concessions to the pop crowd while also (terribly) trying to reel in the real hip hawp crowd. And many times it's just horrendous, which is why Gibbs is one of my favorite rappers atm, as he just brings that pure unabashed hardcore music without any concessions to the maisntream.

i personally cant stand the guy, part of that probably has to do with the people iv ran into that do like him. I think hes overrated, i dont feel his flows are particularly diversified, and his demeanor really just bothers me in general. He doesnt do anything to me thats too unique or interesting, boring to listen to for me.

He's talented but some of his shit's wack. Young Sinatra is the only project from him I have listened to in it's entirety. Better than most the up and comers though.

He has skill, can't say he's not good. It's just that I'm big on "less is more", and Logic kinda does more than he should.

*A simple analogy would be, Big L rapping couple of bars fast, which I love, and Twista doing a whole song like that, which I hate.
