it depends, while he didn't produce a single beat for gkmc (except the recipe as a coproducer), he was still heavily involved in the album's engineering process. He mixed half of the songs and basically taught Ali everything he knows.

Since his sessions with Dr Dre, Ali has transformed from a good mixer/dj into the go-to Mixer/DJ for all the best and most popular west coast rappers. He basically mixed 90% of the most cohesive west coast albums of the last few years.

I'd love a Em feature on Kendrick's album but I can only see it happening if it fits the sound of the album. Kendrick shut Gaga down after they did Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe and wasn't afraid to say he didn't want to use that version, he may do the same to Em if it didn't sound right (though granted it is a bit different).
