I hope you're not coming at me with that cliche and trite "opinions are like assholes" shit, yeah obv. you really don't need to say that every time someone disagree with you. (I know I sound mad as hell, lol but I'm not). And would more than be happy to debate why Tha Carta II is better than those albums.

Also I dunno if Ep should count cause they're a lot shorter. Mixtapes are a different subject and if are like Mood Muzik 2, or Midwestboxframecadillacmuzik than they're essentially albums just technically mixtapes. Even Dedication 2 & Elmatic while not having original beats have a very consistent theme and there was a lot put into the presentation where it wasn't just some two bit mixtape slopped together. Though that stereotype is long dead and probably hasn't been around since the 10s started.

Forrealz though even if I sounded bitchy as hell (it's how I usually come across when I make long posts) in my other post this is a very solid list with a few meh albums here and there and is a million times better than the last list. Too bad the sample size is extremely low.

dead prez wrote:Also I never enjoyed Enter the Wu like most people have. It's very enjoyable and has some great beats and perfect atmosphere, and really pulled off the whole posse album rly well. But I pretty much prefer most first wave Wu Solos over it (Iron Man, OB4CL, Liquid Swords) and even Wu Tang Forever over it.

Feel the same way about R2D as well tbh.

It is my favourite Hip Hop album of all time and I prefer it too a lot of the solo projects but it's far less polished - which in my opinion makes it so great because it's raw & gritty - unlike a lot of the future albums they make, in fact I think The Wu are at their best when they don't have the fancy sound.

The only one I'd put it above in the second tier classics is God's Son(which also doesn't belong there), and Oh God wtf is yelawolf doing there

Fuck outta here.
