I honestly don't see how people can dog on him yet turn around praise rappers like Ghostface or MF DOOM when he can be just as abstracts with his freeassociative non sequiters and his lyrics are laden with pop culture references (well this was mostly in Da Drought 3).

because they don't have the terribly corny hit or miss punchlines

1. Yeah they do or at least MF DOOM sometimes, he has a few meh filler lines but no1curr.

2. You might not even like them as much as prime wayne (Ghostface anyway in like Supreme Clientel)

3. I stopped being spastic nitpicky freak about punchlines a while ago, they just aren't good for your health as a hip hop listener to have a microscope with each lyric and having a heart attack everytime they miss with a line. Two they're like Danny's retarded lines that sound dumb on paper but are fine when recited out loud. He only has those Da Drought 3, those lines are pretty much missing during his blase gangster persona in CII-Dedication II (no bad lines there actually quite a few good ones, listen to Tha Mobb or Hit Em Up). & he always had a certain self aware aspect to him that knows he's just having fun and even giggles at some of his retarded lines in Da Drought 3 and his charisma makes them work anyway.

Also anyone who thinks Doom's only worthwhile project is madvillainy is a retard and should never discuss rap again.

Man, you can't look past the sales of TC3. That was rarely seen during that era. He put in work, and we won. As an artist, I love him, but I think his music is just okay.

Just can't get into it, even Wayne's "dope stuff bro" sounds like audible prolapsed anus to me. He was better, yeah, but not to the extent I feel some people may sometimes say he was.

You feel that way even during CII & dedication 2 when he had a smooth flow and very good writing backed by exteremely (surprisingly) good beats? Like I can understand that during the da drought 3 cause his delivery is a huge acquired taste and you might not care about lines, but I honestly can't understand hatin I the carta 2 sure it's a bit long but otherwise it's very easy listening with good lyrics, smooth flow and great southern beats.

@ class and those ppl are hypocrites who probably just praise those two cause of their status.
