"The Streets" from UK

Don't know if too many of you are familiar with The Streets from UK? (aka Mike Skinner). He's got some absolutely class hsongs and his first two albums - Original Pirate Material and A grand don't come for free are real dope albums. Only English Hip Hop that I don't think is trash. I highly recommend a listen. GOAT stuff :worship:

Original Pirate Material was awesome homie, used to bump it all the time. had some really great beats. They weren't trying to be anything but themselves. Mike's not the best lyricist but there was more to it than that.
Loved their second album as well. Dry Your Eyes Mate is probably my favourite track from that.
Don't know what the fuck happened with their third, it was awful, lol..
But yeah, pretty decent for UK hiphop

Yeah, he sorta fell of after the 2nd album. The lyrics are really simplistic on most of the tracks but it somehow adds to the charm of them. Dry your Eyes and Blinded by the lights were my fav tracks

Just bumped OPM for the first time in years. Mannn, time as served it well, still an awesome project.
I looked them up on wikipedia and they've released 5 albums in total plus a bootleg with b-sides and remixes. gonna have to cop that shit and get into them again :y:
