Really? I didn't know that. I've always thought 50 is just supporting his new rapper.

I don't think it's a good step that's he's officially a member of the group because the other members have much better skills to rap than he has. Except for Yayo. And Yayo is something like Bizzy from D12. I think there's nothing wrong for having a weaker member in a group (when we're talking about skills to rhymes and rap.) This mamber makes people happy, when he's on the stage as Bizzy does. But having two weaker rappers in a group, it's not very good, I think.

I wish they would get rid of Kidd Kidd, that guy sucks.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

He has been showcasing him for a while now indeed... Having him as a new member of the group is just another great way to give him a lot more exposure... esp. right now as G-Unit's buzz is crazy. :y: It's all about marketing.

The thing is G-Unit as a group is technically just 50, Banks & Yayo as that's how it started & kept going to the point 50 had a growing label with the same name. It's been the type a loose collective ever since the label blew up & artists who have signed or have been about to get signed on the label have been added as members of the group as well at certain point. That's how Bang 'Em, Buck & Game joined the group before & It's pretty much the same thing with Kidd Kidd now.

50 made it clear G-Unit is a loose collective when he called the GRODT soundtrack G-Unit's second group project at the time. The album was the typical loose collective type of an album as all the artists who were on the label or were about to get signed had songs on it. Even though technically not members of the group Mobb Deep, MOP, Olivia, Spider Loc & Ma$e were on the supposed group project as signees to the label.

Yea, you're right. It's all about marketing and we know that 50 is very good at that. :smoking: Although the most important thing is that G-Unit's coming out with awesome music these days. :y:
