I'm a fan of the show and of slaughterhouse but this event was cringe as fuck. I very rarely ever say shit like that either.

It just seemed so unprofessional.....granted I was watching shit quality but Joe had no idea how to work the crowd and the sound problems were ridiculous. Sort your fucking shit out.

Props to Sway for trying to hold it down but even then you could tell he was stalling hard. Especially with the "who's heard the new Busta/Em song The Calm"? I was like.....come on Sway......

This format is terrible. Battle rap clearly doesn't work like this in big venues or at least needs to be run differently if it's going to. King of the dot is so much smaller and shits all over this. Half the fun of watching a battle is the crowd reactions so Joe bitching about the crowd and "stop my time" shit was just another L for him as far as I'm concerned.

Both guys were terrible imo with a few good lines from each. Terrible event though. Needs A LOT of work, they better acknowledge that otherwise it will be ruined I think.

Anybody saying that Joe won this shit is fucking delusional. Joe had one good round and that was round 2 .. he had so many cringe-worthy shit in round 2, let alone round 3. Hollow bodied him during round 2 and 3

still cool to see everyone likes to operate in extremes.

I thought it was pretty entertaining overall.

Use it to your advantage, avoid insanity manage
To conquer, every obstacle, make impossible possible
Even when winning illogical, losing is still far from optional.." -T.I.

I love non battle fans coming in here and not liking it.

Either way yeah hollow didn't do as well as he should of. And Joe had what he thought would work but.... Didn't really.

Haven't watched the rest of the event yet.

I hate mook and lux so probably wont

It was pretty even, both could have done better. 3rd round was an easy win for Hollow, though.

Hollow's second round was much better than his 3rd tbh ..

They were even during the first round .. that's about it

Lets not act like repeating certain lines is not an act by battle rappers. Rex does it, lux does and Dizaster is doing it. It's basically like a catchphrase for them. Wouldn't count that as "recycling" lines.

So many of his pauses was him waiting on the crowd though that's what I'm trying to say. The way big T and Lux delivered their bars we could barely hear them so I think he was delivering it slow and obsessing over the mic to avoid not being heard.

I talked to Mook after the show and I told him one big advantage he had with the crowd was that his delivery projected well to the crowd as opposed to Lux and he said he knew that played a big factor in the way the crowd received it. Budden wanted to make sure he avoided that shit

You talked to Mook, doe? How that happened? :shifty:
