Hi guys!!

I just wanted to ask u a question as the only thing i know from Hip-Hop (and love) is most Shady/Aftermath artists and The Roots. So (i want to get more into this genre) and i wanted to ask if LL Cool J's discog is worth checking out as a whole ??(there are 13 albums right?)

I was about to check out G.O.A.T and 10 are those albums good for a start?

Feel free to move this thread if needed

Try Big L, he's pretty fun to listen to and has a small discography. (2 albums, one which was posthumous) or Notorious BIG

You could also check out Nas, and start with Illmatic/It Was Written/Stillmatic. Or Jay, with Reasonable Doubt/Blueprint/Black Album or American Gangster.

I'm probably in the minority here but I enjoy listening to Uncle L. If you want to listen to him check out his older albums. Both Mama said Knock You Out and Radio are classics. BAD is a good album and Walking with a Panther (except for the ballads) is also. Pretty much all albums up to Mr. Smith are good IMO.

If you like Eminem you'll probably enjoy someone like Tyler the Creator or Earl Sweatshirt :y:

All his albums from Radio up to 14 shots to the Dome are incredible. There are a few tracks on Mr. Smith, Phenomenon & G.O.A.T that are dope as well. After that nothing is worth the time, but he didn't become the legend he is by accident, in spite of what obsessive compulsive Canibus fans and people jealous of the pussy he gets will tell you. Dude was official back in the day.
