It's the new generation crunk music. If you listen to this for lyrics or artistic creativity your missing the point. This music is designed for clubs, and in a club, you don't want to hear people rap about meaningful shit. Chief Keef songs are to be played while a stripper shakes her ass on stage, personally I don't think she would get into much of a rhythm if they played Talib Kweli instead.
I use to be a bartender back when Lil John was huge, and while everybody on the internet shit on him, his songs got more people on the dance floor then anything else.
I'm not saying you should like it, I don't listen to the shit on my Ipod or nothing, but in a club setting, give me Lil Durk or Chief Keef over anybvody else right now. They run the scene, along with Iggy. The lyrics might be borderline retarded but it has it's place.
