Considering the dismissive nature of most of the reactions in this thread, its pretty ironic that members are belittling these thoughts to one "by a 15 year old". Tech N9ne on Show Me a God, Albert Einstein after years of Research... just 2 examples of grown men, technically brilliant intellectuals having the same doubts of faith when new life experiences change their perspectives. but, i digress

Hopsin, if you ever read this (as unlikely as that is), i liked the song. For a christian hip-hop fan it was a... moving stance taken. honest. passionate. As fans of music, we gravitate towards different concepts of good. Some are conventional. Some are anti-conventional. Some have no set metric of "well-defined personal views" "deep metaphsyics paradigms" "natural multiple rhyme schemes" "original punchlines" "absence of arbitrarily defined corniness" "non-fruity loops sounding instrumentals". Some of us, the non-elitist, casual rap fan just want to hear what sounds good with content thats engaging enough to be worthwhile. This, like ill mind 5, was.

Extra props for the tribal drums marginally altering the sound and the brilliant cinematography. Labelled underwear wasnt probably a good idea though lol

but the lyrics don't sound like they're from a 15 year old because of the subject matter, it's because they're such a childish and unintelligent standpoint on that subject matter. A 15 year old can be talking about quantum physics but it wouldn't suddenly be more intelligent because it's a smart subject matter. Hopsin just sounds like a whiny teenager. Blu has a song called The World Is (Below The Heavens) about his internal struggle with organized religion and it's incredible because it's articulated well and presented in an interesting way.

Actually liked it. I see his struggles. But he is almost 30 but i dont think his maturity is. He is having a hard time with fame (even tho he isnt that big) and is messed up. This song shows a new direction, didnt find any similar Eminem styles used here. Glad he is going his own direction.
