Headlights is fucking dope, top 10 em song to me
Needless to say that I respect if you don't think so

But what the fuck does "I started jumping the shark" even mean?

Edit: Just looked it up real quick, it means when one or something is going downhill after an all time high period

Are you out of your God damn mind? Nate Ruess has an absolutely amazing voice.

His old bad The Format originally made this song but it was actually the song that broke them up...Aim and Ignite I'd one of my favorite albums ever...wish this song was on it tbh

Thats why the line "I put more faith in TV shows than I ever did a holy ghost" is so awesome. Jumping the shark it's just when a TV show officially gets ridiculous basically..cuz of the happy days episode...arrested development has a great Joke.about this with the same actor from happy days..it's worth checking out if you have even a slight sense of humor
this sig is DOPE!

Interesting that the lyrics about the plane are in the original version, so Eminem's plane-related lyrics were inspired from those vocals (and not the other way around) and he didn't actually write it on the plane as I was thinking.

Saying this is like saying his entire career is half-assed trickery. If you're serious, I mean. I don't know your posting style well enough to be able to tell.

Lots of his songs have samples of hooks and beats. "Jealousy Woes II" sampled the hook from LL Cool J. "Low Down Dirty" sampled from Redman on the hook. "My Name Is" and "Guilty Conscience" are damn near rips of the beats they're sampled from (not unlike "Crack A Bottle", "So Far..." and several others), the hook on "I'm Shady" is basically a re-working of a Curtis Mayfield song, and the hook to "The Way I Am" is a re-working of a Rakim line. Not to mention "Stan", "Sing For The Moment", "Like Toy Soldiers" and "Crazy In Love"...

And those are just the ones I can think of. The quality of any of his songs is up to whichever person listens to it...that I'm not going to argue about, I don't care about who likes and dislikes which song. However, I don't think anyone can say MMLP2 is half-assed without looking at the rest of the sampling history in his career.

But don't mind me, I'm just trying to procrastinate.

Yeah I'm joking man, you'll get to know my style of posting soon enough lol. Sample Robbery is how great records are made.

I'm actually most impressed with the sampling on MMLP2 - especially the Rick Rubin tracks. The samples are so broad and direct yet they don't take you put of the tracks at all

Nah, man
And I'm sorry to break it down to you but he also doesn't really got a ray gun from the future like he claimed on Rap God

How ridiculous of me to think Eminem, the guy who writes lyrics everywhere he goes, might have written lyrics on a plane.
