It's actually a pretty cool concept . This is from Drakes Instagram:

Need everybody coming to the shows to download the Drake vs Lil Wayne app!! This will allow you to dictate who STARTS the show, who WINS the show, and most importantly what SIDE you are on. Buffalo NY it's on you first! I'm gonna cook this man tonight on that stage!!!!!! Chef curry with the pot BOY!!!


The tour is sponsored by videogame company Capcom, which is why they've just launched a tour-specific app called Drake vs Lil Wayne that seems partially modeled after the Street Fighter franchise, as Billboard reports.

DvsLW, which was made in collaboration with Capcom, allows fans to pick between Drake and Lil Wayne. During the "rap battle" portion of the night, the crowd will be able to "help their favorite rapper 'power up' and impact their performances in real time," according to Billboard. (Above, you can see a screenshot of what happens when you power up Drake. Looking good, Aubrey!)

What this "powering up" actually means will be revealed when the tour kicks off tomorrow in Darien Center, New York. The app is currently available for download in the Apple and Google app stores.

I actually like Drake's music, but people keep saying all the time that he is 'best of new gen'.

And about Wayne... I like TC3 and TC4, that's about it.

I like Drizzy, but he's far from the best.

Kendrick raised the bar, and acts like Gambino, Macklemore, Atmosphere and Watsky give me hope for rap in general.
