And I didn't feel a thing,
So baby don't feel no pain,

I think an argument could be made that those two albums are better than life is good because that album was pretty boring and generic lel

Future's album is amazing, 4.5 status (out of 5 before some smartass says out of 10)

& LIG is great one of Nas' better albums only really bested by illmatic and IWW. Probably on the same level as Lost Tapes.

I mean I get why people dislike it but it's just too fun and just bangs, lol. It's like what Chance the rapper tries to do with being all eccentric and erratic but coming off more like a poor man's amalgamation of Kendrick, Danny Brown and Kid Cudi.

Well I never held Lost Tapes up as some super classic that a lot of people do even if he does have some really great rapping in it.

Lost Tapes like is a medium 4 to me, whereas I LIG is one the fringes or cusp of 4. Possibly just evading 3.5 and landing on the coveted 4 status. dunno, lost tapes has excellent rapping but it got to the point where it almost robotic of Nas, plus I reallt dislike certain hook in it. I unno, Blaze a 50 is top tier storytelling though.

What a horrible decade for music, then...

Too much Kanye West, the most overrated 'artist' of all time.

But that's pitchfork, so it's supposed to be a stupid list.
"So one last time, I’m back
Before it fades into black and it’s all over
Behold the final chapter in the saga,
Trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice
The magic that started it all
Tragic portrait of an artist tortured
Trapped in his own drawings
Tapping the thoughts
Blacker and darker than anything imaginable
Here goes a wild stab in the dark
As we pick up the last Mathers’ last art"
