Bumped this album earlier and "bit flow" aside i noted all the rhyming for rhymes sake, forced rhymes and punches that Recovery haters would deem terrible. it's amazing how he completely changed everything about his style on the SSLP. Imo, he's in a class of his own when it comes to switching shit up and reinventing himself.

Thoughts?

The only song I rate highly is "infinite"

This part might just be rhyming for rhyming's sake, but goddamn if it doesn't flow smooth as butter

The rhyming is sick af on this album and lyrically it's pretty cool imo but it doesn't even come close to touching what was to come afterwards. Eminem was just finding his feet on this album so it's not really fair to compare it to the rest of his discography.

What's crazy to think about is he probably didn't really believe he'd ever make anywhere near the money he was dreaming of in those first two songs, and now he has so much it's a joke to him.

There was virtually no sentence-splitting, word-splitting or pronunciation-based forces in this album. The alignment of his writing was perfect, with all the rhymes landing in the right places.

I've never gone that in depth with the artform, I was convinced i heard forced rhymes on this album but you clearly no more about the technical aspect than i do so i'll take my L.

The Point i was getting at was Em's style switching more than the Infinite album itself, but i was tired and should of explained myself better.
