I got 99 problems and they all bitches

But they all didn't see, the little bit of sadness in me, Scotty

I've got some issues that nobody can see
And all of these emotions are pouring out of me

Just to show the kids they ain't the only ones who up at night

you can't see how those would be relatable to people

I'll drop this after this cause I'm derailing the thread, but I guess I could. But they're just really vapid and trite in just about every way, and almost pandering with how woe is me they are. Also that I got 99 problems line is really cringe and a terrible attempt hearkening back to the classic jay z song.

It's like take everything that was very sentimental and relatable about Sing for the moment and squeeze the life out of it and mass market it to idiot frat boy number #3426

I agree he is now but the warm up is really great and he has some moments of brilliance, especially on Friday night lights.

Breath full of Tanqueray left from the anger

Soundtrack 2 My Life is a 10/10 song
Sadistik is a great rapper
J Cole too
"Mama I just killed a man
My body is still tremblimg, can you feel my hand?
Don't shed no tears, it won't be long before they find out it was me momma
This may be the last time you see me free ma
Don't spend it cryin'"

Actually I kinda agree. Although I think Cole can tell a (fictive) story quite well (Lost Ones, Killers, Runaway, Lights Please ...), I do think he's quite vague in some of his songs. I think that's probably because he hasn't had the same life experiences like a Kendrick.
But mixtapes like The Come Up or Friday Night Lights are at least 9/10 for me.

nah he's just vague poetic pseudo emo abstract shit
thank you i thought i was the only one. i listened through ultraviolet for my first full listen of a sadistik project and i just got this feeling that i wasn't paying enough attention most of the way through, like i should have been giving more of a fuck about what i was hearing and decyphered it all but i just didn't give enough of a shit, it didn't sound good enough sonically for me to take it that far. like i can understand the point of sacrificing lyrical content for a flow or scheme, but he seems to do it for no reason at all, which is what makes me think there's something going over my head that i'm missing. it's either that my ability to comprehend my own first language is in dire need of improvement or, like you said, he's just produces vague abstract shit.

J. Cole isn't all bad, he definitely has his moments. Just most of the times he talks in broad cliches.

And it's definitely not to do with life experiences. Kendrick, Blu, Andre 3000 and Slug all have extremely different life experiences.
