Quiet forum = a good thing

Postby shadyblogger » Oct 11th, '14, 22:49

Just decided to make a thread about a realization I've finally come to. When I first joined, it was during the time of all the MMLP 2 madness going on and for the next several months afterwards it was crazy with so many new members and ppl stanning out (including myself) and then it finally calmed down. Now, as it has been for a while, it's quieted down and the forum is a lot more calm. At first it irked me and made me think this place was boring af but now I really enjoy it.

There's no longer a large amount of brats and trolls running around making shit posts left and right and I'm finally starting to appreciate that now. Members can actually have conversations and connect with one another without annoying ass trolls and dumb posts getting in the way (they still occur just not nearly as much as it did during the MMLP 2 mania). I guess I'm just saying I'm happy with the way things are and the members that I post back and forth with regularly. I love y'all fam.

I know but I don't think it'll be as bad as the MMLP 2 one because there was a lot more hype for MMLP 2

Luv u 2 fam.

I agree, I enjoy it as well. But I don't enjoy it when I come back every 3 hours to check on it and no one seems to have posted anything to the current topics since the last time I checked on them.

Looks like alot of people just join for the hype of an album and then disappear. Don't worry I won't be 1 of those people

I'm curious to know the percentage of members that actually stick around out of the total number that join
