I drive across the country now and then, since one of my homes is up north and the other down here in the south. It's about a 5,000m trip, I prefer to do it alone though, being in a box with anybody for that long will make me want to blow their head off. I'm actually doing it again at the end of November, just a tip: the more you love your car the better the trip will be. finish getting all of your modding in and all of the kinks out before a tire touches the road, and get a bypass for your headunit if you have one. roof racks are everything, I recommend yakima + a loadwarrior. Lastly, invest in a dash cam if you haven't, I use this one and it couldn't have been an easier install. I posted pics of my install on the clubxb forums so let me know if you need a link. ...trying to think of other things you might have overlooked.... is this your first major road trip?

fuck you faggot there's street-legal cars with this, but i asked because i don't understand why it would be illegal to sleep in your own car assuming it's off and in a safe spot. i sleep in my car all the time.

It's not the only car with it, which if you would know had you taken 4 seconds to actually read my post. every tesla has it as well as the google maps car (there's nobody ever in it) and audi and toyota have it in their 2015+'s as well. it will be on every western model by 2017. shit i'm installing one myself as soon as tesla sells it as a standalone kit
