The other thread was completely on topic, in any kind of debate or people commenting things there will always be some comments thay won't be strictly on topic, but this doesn't mean the thread was derailing.
But if you want to have a more general thread , it's ok.
There is one case now in the US , like in Spain is a nurse too. So it's the second case of person infected in the 1st world.
The Spanish woman is better, she has less virus levels on blood. Her chances to survive have increassed now.

Someone said on tv , that the best thing that could happen to Africa is that the ebola is a fact now in the first world. It seems a vaccine could be ready for 2015. And now the gobernments are paying attention to the problem.

Obv they talk about Africa, it's a terrible number, It's very hard to keep under control this there, there is no need to panic in the first world. The biggest risk are the airports, but they are controlling the problem there too.
But what's happening in Africa is a tragedy, entire villages have disappeared. I hope they will get much more help now that all the world is scared.

We're fine, everybody needs to relax. It's good that its getting attention but this sensationalism needs to stop. Half a million people die in Africa every year from Malaria. That needs just as much attention if not more than Ebola.
