I had no idea that was a pic from the funeral. But I still think he looks like an idiot on that pic. And, I`m an asshole for saying that, and there are two guys in the picture on the left smiling.

Well Proof was a funny guy in life and in death

ive smiled at funerals plenty, theres nothing wrong with celebrating the life of a loved one who passed, thought it was pretty normal tbh, fuck mourning a death, celebrate the times they were there.

I honestly would be unable to be smilling a lot at funerals. I think you can remember the good times and laugh , but with the time, but in the moment it's a shock. And the feeling that knowing you won't see that person anymore is devasting. Of course it also depends the ties you had with that person.

I was at a funeral recently, and there was 2 teenagers taking a selfie in front of the graves. Laughing and having lot of fun. It was to me a lack of respect so big that I went to talk to them.

i recently was at my funeral for my uncle who suffered from multiple strokes n heart attacks, so everyone was kind of happy his suffering was over tbh, guess it depends on the scenario, and in ur scenario u did right, ida slapped them to be completely honest, smh

The grieving process is also easier when you know the person is dying already/suffering because you prepare yourself for it. In your case Detroit, I assume you guys knew that your uncle didn't have much time left. But if a family member or loved one just drops dead suddenly for whatever reason, that grief is a whole lot tougher and harder to get through.
