dat lung capacity reminded me of these busta bars and he can actually chop too. a lot of people don't realize there's a very real difference between chopping and just rapping fast. he's hitting every syllable with the exact same cadence and giving the same amount of time to each syllable and spaces between them. hence the helicopter blade/chopper sound effect once you can speed it up to that threshold. It's a fucking hard thing to do for long periods like he did there, especially live. he's wwc material for sure.

Tech said in an interview a while ago that he didn't want to do a second one unless it had massive features like Eminem on it, but I doubt that will happen. I liked the first one though, I hope Yela is on it again.

I don't want to give false promise but Tech has been particularly, almost suspiciously quiet about this album. which is saying a lot given that he promotes every strange music release like his life depends on it. It's set to release in January and this is the biggest piece of news yet, we had samples of 6 Something Else tracks and 1 full one by the time we were this close to its release. every year they do a tech-hosted sampler of all their upcoming projects for the year and they skipped this one and haven't even acknowledged it. everything else regarding special effects is just minor details he's accidentally let slip in post-show interviews backstage and shit. The most interesting part however is that he's been talking about this album since he started work on All 6's & 7's back in 2010. So for everyone complaining that Tech needs to take more time with his projects back during Something Else, this is going to be the result of him doing that.

say what you will about tech but he always always tops his previous work. the further you go back in his discography the worse it gets, I hardly listen to anything pre-2005/Everready unless I'm particularly in the mood for those old gritty 8+ minute long 90's tracks. and of course the classics from absolute power and anghellic but i almost never listen to anything else from them.

Agreed. Ever since I started listening to Tech's music I always thought that it was a pretty regular thing where Krizz would take the tracks he was on. Too bad Krizz's solo stuff, besides Kicking & Screaming and Neh'Mind isn't as great. I like and have bought his shit (besides Shock Treatment, that was pretty bad to me lmao) but it just doesn't compare to his verses on Tech's songs.

krizz dat nigga doe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ he's definitely the most versatile artist i've ever found in music. dude can chop with tech then turn around in the same studio session and record an opera track and everything in between. i've always felt like he could be an incredible headliner by himself but he says he doesn't like performing without tech since it's all he's known. if he was comfortable enough to really branch out on his own he could seriously make waves.
