I was pretty lucky with hacks during its peak from '08 - '09 tbh, it wasn't until about 2011 or so when I restarted playing it that the hackers got annoying.

Some hacks were pretty fun though, like super jumping matches with 9,000 minutes on Rust.

I started Cod right as WaW was hitting its peak, I never got COD till MW2 came out and I wanted to try the older ones, but I never got addicted to it tbh, it felt too different from MW2 so I stuck with that.


Zombies was awesome with friends, but I only had about 2 or 3 people who played it on WaW, since everyone bummed off COD4 at the time, so I was mostly stuck in 3 player private lobbies, or I'd find people on the IGN CoD forums to play with, they were cool guys too. I haven't been there in years, damn.

Were you on SNN mostly? Der Ries was where it was at fam, even the fucking easter egg song was badd ass, and the pack a punched STG44 >>>>>

Edit: I forgot the woman who did the easter egg songs, she was a heavy rock singer and her songs sounded so fucking badass.

BLOPS2 had the worst zombies mode though, you really should check out WaW, or if you don't like the clunky movement BLOPS1 has a slightly worse version
