At first, looking at the controversy over the Lana Del Rey line, I though that this was unintended by Em -- and he wanted the focus to be on the style of the rapping and video. But, more I study the lyrics, it seems to be a very deliberate attempt to provoke -- he name dropped Anderson Cooper, Gloria Steinem, Ray Rice, Lebron (indirectly), Britney, had some stuff about lesbians, etc. It's like he threw a lot of darts and one of them hit the target big time. It's back to "I have nothing to lose" mode.

The criticisms are of a different style this time -- "immature at 40", "desperate for relevance", "played out" -- and also the familiar "misogynist/homophobic".
