Eminem rapping about punching a woman in the face, people are cool with it, whatever right? ok now, let's say it was a black rapper, idk who's popular right now? uhh, it may work for Young Thug cuz i mean, nobody can tell what the fuck he's saying 90% of the time anyways, but, say it's somebody like Rick Ross, he already got alot of shit for rapping about puttin a roofi in a girls drink, which, was laughable compared to Eminem rapping about raping his own mother.
And then you have the Build a bear line, again, give that line to a black rapper such as Rick Ross, people are going to flip and say Rick Ross is a scum bag and it's gonna cost him alot of deals with whatever clothing lines he's with or whatever, but Eminem says it and he get's a pass?
Honestly i'm tired of seeing people stick up for Eminem and say it's ok for him to get away with the shit he gets away with but when other rappers say something alot less controversail it becomes a major news story and labels go ape shit crazy and canel shit and whatever, it aint right, yeah, Eminem is a future legend, the dude had alot of talent and put out a couple hot albums, but that shouldn't mean he can get away with more shit.
the stans on this site, as well as twitter, are beyond annoying, making it as if Eminem should have more privilages than other rappers, and be treated differently.
Eminem got plenty of heat, but he won the war by refusing to back down and making an argument as to why he wouldn't through his music. His label didn't drop him because they bet on his talent. And he was brilliant enough to capture a sufficiently large fan base to justify that decision. And from then on it's all business ... why would sponsors drop him when they can turn a profit by not dropping him?
