Em said many times that people have a problem with knowing when he is joking and when he is serious. The intro on "Criminal" is an example where he explains this. People will just ignore that.

It`s just music. People need to get that in their heads. I grew on rap music (Eminem in bigger part), movies, video games... And I never raped my mom, killed someone, tortured animals, visited my school with an M16... But naming Eminem or video games or movies as someone or something that is to be blamed for bad things that happen-it brings you in the spotlight, gives you something to do and be noticed for it.

I wonder what kind of music did Hitler listen to and what video games he played. Or Jack the ripper.
