it doesn't sound like his old self because he's not trying to imitate his old self... it's a complete assertion to think he is trying to be his old self.

he has said many times that he's always trying to do something new.

listen to this song

Exactly the way he USED to sound!

he can flow, rap and sound however and whenever he wants to.

Never heard this. I fail as a Stan.

Blogs McGooch wrote:Eminem can come pretty close to rapping like he did 1999-2002 but it's not exactly the same. Like others have said, he had to relearn how to rap and regain his motor skills. Anyone with half a brain can realize that that means he had to start from scratch thus it's completely understandable that he raps differently in sobriety.

even if he raps like he did from 99-02 , his voice is so much deeper now.

imo his 02 voice was perfect

it's not much deeper .. Em from 2002 pretty much sounds like Em nowadays .. Em just talks in a deeper tone nowadays, he can still hit certain vocal tones ..

Eminem's second verse is awful

I get the crowd rolled up Like a U-Haul truck
Just call me 2 Ball Chuck, ain't too tall what
I'll leave Utah stuffed
Man I love this game, who the hell you called up?
You need points on the paint, I'm the joints when they stained
All my coins in the bank and I'm...
Yeah baby it's true, I'm talking to you
You already know what to do
Just pass it to me, it just so happens to be
That I adapt with this heat so strap in your seat
I got a grasp on this beat, you ain't convinced?
Give it to Tayshaun Prince, we haven't stayed calm since
Leave the ball with delayed palm prints

here is the second verse. like I said, the subject matter is stupid, but the rhymes are clearly there. now let your believes conform to the evidence of reality.

Eminem has rhymed multiple times better than this post comeback.
The subject matter is literally nothing, he's not going anywhere with anything that he's saying.
The delivery and cadence is as boring as watching paint dry.

sure, eminem has definitely rhymed better, but that doesn't change the fact that these are good rhymes. and it's only your subjective opinion that his delivery and cadence is boring. let me reiterate. the subject matter is stupid, but the rhymes are good.

You complain about the same thing over and over. Don't you get tired of being so negative all the time?

How about you just stop posting on the subject period instead of repeating yourself? Everyone knows how you feel, and nobody cares anymore.

Like whatever you like, I'm not asking you to conform to any opinion, I just don't understand why you feel the need to complain about the same thing over and over.
