Yelawolf - Down (Appreciation Thread)

YelaGOAT won Shady XV.

The best song of Shady XV indeed has Yela...

Twisted.

But, Down is a great track! Yela killed it. And that beat is insane.

I don't think I'll ever understand the hate for Skylar. The three of them killed Twisted, this song is fantastic.

Anyway, Down is great I'm even more excited for Love Story now, sounds really promising.

Down is definitely dope as well, but I still prefer Till It's Gone over it.

Me too, but thinking Down didn't make the cut for LS is a good sign for the album overall. I do feel that I'll like Whisky in a Bottle more than Till It's Gone though

Love it.

At first you kinda expect the hook to sound a certain way, because hooks tend to be formed almost the same. Espacially in rap songs.
But Yela proves yet again that he wont go down as any other and switches up the melody at least twice in the hook.
This pisses the listener off the first time but once you get used to it new doors open.
