Think about it, if he would've had the same flow he had on MMLP or TES for the entirety of his career, we'd be sick of him by now. We'd be thinking "oh he's just doing the same shit all over again, he never does anything new" etc.
I like his new flow, especially the ones he's been using on MMLP2 and Shady XV. Also the flow on Relapse was pretty dope.
Anyhow, Em is still the best.
Let me put it like Paul did on the rap radar interview:
He's the best at what he's doing, lyrically with wordplay, syllables, delivery, performance, energy, etc.
Personally, I think the only rapper that'll be up to par with Em once he retires is Kendrick Lamar.
God I wish Em and Kendrick does more collabs soon.
Yea. I have to hand it to Eminem for trying to make new flows work. Now I look back and Relapse, even Recovery was all about experimenting. It's all a work in progress. But this time he actually got it right. I hope he brings this style onto the next album. Sure, we don't have to have every song really fast paced like this, but this is a good overall this is the direction to take. When I first heard it, I thought he was being ridiculous and was gonna make himself look like a fool for trying so hard and rapping like that. But once I gave it a chance, I had to hand it to him.
