The full, juicy chat will appear in an upcoming issue of Blender, but there's one bit that's too exciting to leave un-shared until then. When we asked Fifty, So what the hell is going on with Eminem? he told us,

I think this album and detox will be the greatest albums of the next year and maybe if we're lucky, of this year...50 is an asshole but nobody should doubt that this will be a masterpiece...And yeah, Eminem was BORN TO RAP

Yeah, kinda weird to say wacky eminem is back, even though some of those songs are funny, thye really arent needed, you want funny, go to weird al (whom I like, so it's not a fucking diss) you want rap, go to eminem (encore was too random and shit, and really wasn't that funny)

well if its really half and half thats good that way em will get pop groupie fans and hip hop heads i mean so of his wacky shit is ok it better then when he tries to be gangsta that only ok once in a while he need to go back to the shit that was on his first 3 albums just minus fack that was on the eminem show

He's always done wacky and angry and done it well on everything but Encore, Slim Shady had My name Is, Marshall Mathers had The Real Slim Shady, Eminem Show had Without Me but Just Loose It was terrible.

He balanced it perfectly until Encore, I much prefer his serious songs, but it is still good to have a range, but his serious songs are the best

eg. Lose Yourself, The Way I Am, Mosh, Sing For The Moment.... all pure class

But I really don't want another 'Smack That' or any of that type of stuff, I hope it's pure solo apart from the odd colab with *good rappers and not cheesy pop turds like Akon.

i agree with the collabs the only people id like to see would be

I want a lot of nate dogg on the hooks, that guy is insane. I don't really want a lot of dre, cauuse he'll probably have released his Detox album just before so we'll have a lot of tracks from him, but yea one tracks enough. D12 same dr. dre.. obie trice yea one track would be enough. Dina Rae would be sick another superman or something.. But what he needs is some other lyrical rapper like papoose that way he can make his game is stepped up.
