In no way was Crazy in Love a filler track, that's true quality there bro.
Just went to the lyrics to prove my point and the whole track is hot.

The only way that I am able to stay so stable
Is you're the legs to my table
If you were to break I'd fall on my face
But I'm always going to make you feel
I don't need you as much as I really need you
So you don't use it to your advantage
But you're essential to me
You're the air I breathe
I believe if you ever leave me
I'd probably have no reason to be

The first two aren't as strong but they are great tracks.
If depends how you define filler, but I see it as tracks created just to make up numbers,
and I wouldn't say that for any of the tracks I mentioned.

I donno what kind of hip hop fan are you, but ive not repeated any of those songs after i first heard them when i opened my package of Encore. I played mockingbird a few times but it got boring after a while, never enough and mosh were the few good songs on the album and toy soldiers was a single, so it kind of killed the song. In fact, u dont judge albums by 1 or 2 songs u judge an album in general. I cant say the album was in all sounding any good, better yet... re playable and im certainly not the only one to think that.

Good day, kind sir.

It's all about opinion, I'm not going to put myself into any 'hip hop fan category' and I like almost half the tracks of Encore, which is a lot better then I can say for the majority of the albums in my collection.

Well i obviously don't know what albums u got in your collection, but i haven't bought any mainstream albums in the period of 2003-2006, since those were just hideous to even refer to to meet standards. This is exactly why i don't like when rappers (even good ones) dumb down their albums according to the time they are released, coz they want to make profit with the least effort they can.

Anyways, I'm not looking for an argument, I've discussed my ass off about the album, opinions about this album on an eminem site simply don't appeal to me. Im looking forward to the new album, hopefully, eminem puts the "sleeping pills" away and puts out something to set standards, not to follow.

well you can't expect him to get up to his standards just like that, i'm hoping he just has some emotional shit again, those were the best, i.e. rock bottom

You just (try to) compare it to his earlier albums and that's that. You simply cannot compare SSLP, MMLP and TES with Encore...
just look at his lyrics in rain man:
"And I don't gotta make no god damn sense
I just did a whole song and I didn't say shit"

What is he tryin' to say here? That he's out of ideas? Where's the good ol' Em (and D12) that made me fall in love in hip hop in the first place? Gone are the good ol' days (I hope not....)

That's because Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP are easily two of the best Albums ever released.
Encore in my opinion is a decent album, nothing more which is why he gets the hate it arguably deserves.

Encore was just different to his other styles I guess.
It wasn't shit. It may not have been as good as tes or mmlp but it was good so :tounge2:
