Alright peps I gotta ask this question, being that I'm from Warren (The city where alot of 8mile was taped) I have to know... In the movie is the Mekhi Phifer's character sapouse to represent Proof? Because I know back in the day Proof had long dreads and ran a rap basement in Center Line. Just wondering if that character is sapouse to be like Proof's place in eminems life seeing how the movie somewhat portrays em's life.

cuz i would imagine that you are right, because there is a freestlye out at a basement and proof looked just like phifer. Thats a good question though but i would venture to say yes he is portraying proof

i don't know it.they even say that a guy in the movie is a reporter from the detroit free press, but i don't believe that

So yeah, Future's based on Proof.
