This beat was inspired by a Evanescence song, forgot which one, but it was on her Fallen CD.

Melodies compliment each other nicely. Snare was a bit rough at first but as I listened it didn't stand out so much. I'd put some sort of low volume, percussion on maybe every 4th step to fill the gap between kick and snare. The drums themselves got a bit repetitive after a while.

Nice work overall, keep at it :y:

pretty good man, the main melody is dope, and the back up melody was born for it :worship:

drums match, and mixing is pretty good too man keep it up 9/10. :y:

EDIT: the way the beat ends isn't good, should of been faded out. also add alittle more to the snare

sounds to slow for rap vocals, dunno what style you ment this for but i dont think it could be sued for hip hop.

anywae, melodies are nice and defiantly the best mixing wise youve done, but it does get repetetive and boring imo, drums are to simple and not that good, melodies are the best thing and with better drums i think itd be sick :y:

thx bar, but its not THAT slow, there's plenty of rap songs that have REAL SLOW beats, and it works fine (i.e. Stimulate by Eminem)... it might need more talented rappers but yea.

well tempo wise it might not be that slow i just feel the drums are to empty and not enough goin on to muster a decent flow, ofcourse someone would be able to coz ever beat is flow-able im just talking generally lol

it's nice. like everyone else has been sayin, the melodies are real nice. but i kinda agree with Bar on the drum pattern; a little empty. it sounds like the drums pick up after the reverse cymbol but it doesn't.

maybe some more reverb on the strings panned at the left would sound good... and about the drums, I see what people are saying... maybe you could have more powerful drums, but you never know, maybe it would sound just fine with a rapper on this :happy:
