interesting beat... the melodies are nice, and the various patterns fit well together... I think the main problem would be the drums, they don't sound natural enough... you should try to mess around with the velocities of the hi-hats, and add some reverb to the snare etc...

the thing is, when you make drum patterns with samples in a sequencer like FL, you can either use "electronic" sounds (like 808 sounds) and you can get away with unrealistic sounding drum patterns... but when you use "accoustic" samples (like you did/often do, and like I and many others here often do too) I think it makes it a little harder cause you have to give it a realistic sound/swing like if it was played by a drummer, cause otherwise it doesn't sound natural and might sound awkward (not always tho)... so yeah, in this case, I think the drums would need to have a more natural feel to be more effective

but the composition was nice, keep it up :y:

no problem

and hmm... well, playing with the velocities is a good trick (especially for the hi-hats)... and other than that, I don't know... try to add a little more percussion sounds (like shakers, toms, congos etc...) well it depends on the beat, sometimes those perc don't really fit well but sometimes it can make it sound more realistic
