Jay Z n Linkin Park - Collision Course

Postby Spyro » Nov 28th, '05, 00:33

personally i think this was an Ace album, before i didnt really like Linkin park due 2 all the screaming n that. and i thought Jay Z on his own aint the best. but i loved this album... the point of this post is...

if Eminem was to do a collaberation of songs with sum1 a completely different style, (his lyrics over sum1 elses song and sum1 elses lyrics over his songs kinda like "Superman - Cry Me A River" and "Ghetto" on Sirius 45 Mix Tape) who would u want 2 b? and maybe what tracks would u do?

i think more stuff over Akon.. maybe over Kano cus he has sum ace lines and sum pritty good backing tunes to his tracks?

ur opinions plz ;)

Hmmmm I think actually Linkin Park with Em would be good. It's just that Linkin Park is really close to the rap genre without actually being rock. I also like some of Em's work with Elton John and wouldn't mind seeing them collaborate again sometime.

Think back to when Eminem first started. On Kid Rock's 'devil without a cause' CD He raps to Kid Rocks hard rock in the song "Fuck Off". Sounded good too

i couldn't agree with you more.

mart85 here made a remix of points of authority and em's verse in fight music. it was fire! (that's my new phrase ;) )

thanks again truemfan, :D here is the link for those who wanna hear it.

And I also think Linkin Park with Eminem would be great. I think Em's chorus in the song Kim would fit well with LP's style. Here is a little something I made with LP's song Lying From You and Kim's chorus. Sound quality is horrible, but I think it could sound good with the acapella version of Kim.

thanks! I appreciate it

and no, it doesn't take a LONG time to do that... Once you know how to do it, it takes a few minutes... Well, maybe an hour, but not more. But for the POA remix, I had to loop a part of the song, cause there is no instrumental version, so that was long...

thanks again!
