Need a program to burn photo's to dvd??

Hey guys, Ive got about 1000 photo's from a round the world trip, but im having trouble trying burn them all to dvd, so i can show my friends on the tv screen,
Has anyone else had this problem?
ive seen a few programs on the net, but no free ones, Has anyone got any ideas or links to a cracked program?
