So I'm looking to get a mic today yay! Anyways, so my friend says that I should get this one called a SM58, but then again I know nothing about mic's I'm trying to stay in the $75 to $100 dollar range. Anyone have any other suggestions on quality mic's?
Try looking for a USB mic those are always good to start out with all you will need after that is to install cool edit pro on your computer & your all set up from then it's just recording & editing your vocals
I currently have a cheap plastic mic that I haven't even tried to do vocals with yet. But besides a mic, is that all I need well besides Cool Edit Pro, to record?
I'm just saying usb so you know it'll hook up to your computer lol I remember I had one wayyyyy long ago & it was pretty decent I never used to mix or master my vocals cuz I didn't know about that.... but damn.... I miss that mic.... http://www.samsontech.com/PRODUCTS/prod ... rodID=1810 <-- i'd recommend it for you you will love it
Aw thanks PK, I found the mic that you recommended on there and it's in a pak along with a stand for a desk, and some type of software to use, even in a case! For around $110 straight from amazon, and it's free shipping
NO USB MICS...they are garbage..no sound quality at all..
Get the SM58..its made by Shure and is the best dynamic mic you can buy..once you get some more cash then move on to a condensor mic..but stay away from usb mics even though they are cheap you will be disappointed with the results, usb mics are for AIM/MSN convos..not recording
